Here is another beautiful rare word.
As I write this post, I am apricating by a window, enjoying the sunshine on a clear winter’s day. In fact, I’m in just about the same spot as our golden retriever, Willow, was in the photo. Right now, she’s warming herself by the fire.
This is another treasure I unearthed in the Oxford English Dictionary. Interestingly, apricate is not related to apricot, but I do love the idea of apricots becoming a little flushed after a day in the sun.
